Kamdhenu mall aka big bazaar is one of the best places to buy household and grocery items offline. Although the store is crowded on weekends or during holidays, the checkout process is quick. Staff working at the store are helpful. In case you're hungry, you can visit the mini bakery or pani puri/bhel counter beside the checkout counter. I visited this place 4 times. I have no complains so far. The only thing that irritates me at the big bazaar is the credit card guys that follow you even if you don't express interest. You can reach big bazaar from any part of surat via sitilink buses.
